Client's Capital Finance offers traditional asset-based financing, specialized senior secured financing, accounts receivable financing purchase order financing, and supply chain financing to a wide range of companies throughout the U.S.
Obtain information on collateral performance such as turnover and dilution, non-prime, etc. and communicate any material changes:
Analyze financial reports to evaluate and report material changes in operating performance and/or balance sheet status
Assess the clients overall systems and records and identify any areas of potential exposure for WFFs collateral
Communicate with Underwriters, Account Executives, and Audit Manager throughout the engagement to keep them apprised of any material events
Prepare clear and concise audit reports highlighting areas of exposure for Underwriting
Assist Account Executive with new business funding takeover procedures
Assist in training of new Financial Analysts
Assist on existing accounts as necessary

This position will be responsible for National Accounts Underwriting for the Client's National Partnerships business unit.
Ideal candidate will have at least 6 years experience in underwriting mid-market commercial and program business coupled with a strong understanding of multi-line package underwriting. Must have strong sales orientation, ability to coordinate team members, deep business acumen, business development skills, and effective negotiation skills to interface with National agencies and brokers within an assigned territory.

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities:

4. Accurately evaluate risk exposures of the most complex nature. Underwrite new business, review applications, select business to quote and reject the business that is unacceptable, class and price according to guidelines. Underwriting also includes reviewing MVR's, financial reports and loss control reports.
5. Serve as a top underwriting resource. Provide professional development knowledge and insight to team members. May help train new field underwriters and provide them coaching as they develop in their role.
6. Serves as a liaison between sales and underwriting and provides input into the development and implementation of business plans.
7. Assists in the setting strategic and operating plan objectives for profit, production, and service.
8. Conduct program and product orientation meetings in conjunction with the sales managers.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to deliver DC’s growth strategy for several of DC’s major brands, and be Diabetes Care’s SAP and SCM super user.
